Today in Spanish class the Sparrows enjoyed a game while they practiced the clothes vocabulary. The game consisted of choosing and naming (in Spanish) clothes to dress up two paper figures.
It was Zoe's turn to read the calendar and after that the Sparrows learned about the three zones in which the ocean is divided based on the amount of sun light received: Sunlight Zone, Twilight Zone and Midnight Zone.
Some friends chose to color big pieces of paper with dark blue tempera. Those paintings will become part of the Midnight Zone of the ocean that will be soon displayed on the board inside the classroom.
