Peace

To begin Spanish this morning Alicia greeted each friend with buenos dias, and in return friends either said "Buenos dias, Alicia" or gave a wave. Today we went over los numeros. Alicia read us a book about numbers and together we counted in Spanish.

In the book not only were numbers, but pictures of animals as well, so we were able to practice some animal names too!

During choice time, friends worked with playdough, trains, magnatiles, and continued to work on the different items for our classroom alphabet.

Today we journaled about peace. In our classroom, and all around school, peace is a popular topic, especially since it is one of our Quaker testimonies. We revisited the book What does Peace feel like? Friends explored peace through the five senses. To journal, friends answered the question what does peace feel, smell, sound, taste, or look like?

Ask your Sparrow what peace feels/sounds/smells/looks/tastes like.
