Today we had Meeting for Worship in the classroom with our 3rd grade buddies. Together we read the story Owl Moon. Friends shared their thoughts and feelings about the book, and then settled into silence.
The Sparrows and third grade had some choice time together. Friends built magnatile towers and castles, created patterns, drew with markers and read books.
The Sparrows are connecting more and more with their buddies and feel proud and happy to show them what they have been learning so far, as well as their look at their favorite books and games.
After our third grade friends left, the Sparrows continued with choice time. The group LOVES to color with dot paint! Friends here created imaginative designs and deemed themselves the "Tie dye girls."
