Say Cheese!

Today in Spanish class, Alicia read two beautiful books about the human features that make us all unique. The Sparrows started to learn how to name in Spanish different types of clothing. Later on, friends will start a project about their unique selfs.
During choice time, some friends were enthusiastically drawing, building and playing in the sandbox. We continued with our gallery art project, gluing details to the snowman.

Due to the weather, we stayed inside and decided to go downstairs and read the book, "The Three Little Pigs."After the story, the Sparrows were challenged to think about words that rhyme with pig, brick, and house.

On the way to the upper school, the Sparrows pointed out and identified shapes and numbers on the buildings.

Luckily, we got to the door just in time right before it started to pour!! We watched the rain for a few minutes and then continued on our walk.

We ended our walkabout with these beautiful group pictures :)
