Windsocks

Today in art class the Sparrows finished up their windsocks. Friends glued colorful paper stripes on onto the base.

Once all the windsocks were ready, Donna and the Sparrows went outside to try them out. The group enjoyed watching the strips move in the direction of the wind.

During choice time, the Sparrows practiced their fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination with beading.

Some friends had fun creating structures with magnatiles.

Some other friends decided to play in the dramatic play area, assuming different roles and cooking a variety of "menus."

We had a lot of fun in music class with Keisha!

We began with our regular routine, and then practiced one of the songs we will be performing on stage at the Winter Program! The Sparrows are beyond thrilled to know that they will be going up on stage, with their families there to watch!

Next, friends stood up to practice the dance moves for our second performance song.

Back in the classroom, friends continued with an art project. Each Sparrow used sponges to paint the trunk of a Fall tree.
