Switcheroo!

After lower school assembly this morning, the Sparrows came back to the classroom. During our group circle we played a literacy game, I have, Who has. Each friend received two cards. The cards each had two letters on them. A friend would read their card, for example "I have A, who has F?, and then the friend who had the card they asked for would stand up and announce what was on their card. We repeated this process until all cards were collected.

Some Cardinal friends stopped by to join in on the fun!

Later on, after snack, the Catbirds, Cardinals, and Sparrows did a switcheroo. Friends from each of the three classes rotated in out of the three classrooms in groups of 3-5. Friends spent 30 minutes in each class. It was clear that friends enjoyed "switching" classrooms and exploring a different space with other groups of friends.

Usually, all three classrooms spend their time together outside on the playground. This was another fun way for us all to be together! When leaving the classroom, friends asked if they could come back and do it again!

Ask your Sparrow what they enjoyed about being in the other classrooms.

Have a great weekend and stay safe!!
